South College seeks an Educational Technologist for a 12-month contract with fully remote work from home. The role focuses on LMS support, course design, LTI integrations, and staff training across online instructional environments.

You will collaborate with instructional designers, manage LMS configurations, and help faculty adopt best practices in using Articulate Rise, Storyline, and Canvas. Strong communication and problem-solving are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in instructional technology, LMS support, or educational technology.
• Experience working with LMS platforms (Canvas preferred) and instructional tools.
• Experience supporting or configuring LTI tools or third-party integrations.

Responsabilités

• Resolve support issues involving LMS functionality, integrations, and instructional tools.
• Serve as an escalation point for complex technical and course-related issues.
• Analyze recurring problems and recommend improvements to processes and support workflows.
• Respond to and resolve Help Desk tickets assigned by IDT leadership within established service-level timeframes.
• Document troubleshooting steps and resolutions accurately and consistently in the ticketing system.
• Communicate promptly and professionally with faculty and staff regarding ticket status, next steps, and resolution.
• Escalate complex, unresolved, or high-priority tickets to IDT leadership as needed.
