Job summary

Unitek Learning is seeking an Educational Technologist to manage day-to-day LMS administration in a remote, part-time role covering evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities include auditing data integrity, creating training, evaluating LMS processes, and coordinating with LMS vendors and third-party apps to improve functionality for students and faculty. Strong collaboration with instructional designers is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Educational Technology or equivalent preferred.
• Two years of related experience managing technology resources related to learning management systems.
• Knowledge of learning management systems and third-party teaching and learning tools.
• Experience in training and learning design and development.
• Experience working with Learning Management Systems.
• Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others.
• Must have a strong familiarity with recognized E-learning technical standards.
• Ability to adapt and handle multiple projects with different priority levels.
• Experience with e-learning concepts and tools.
• Excellent written communication, analytical, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Audit and monitor data integrity within the Learning Management System (LMS).
• Create and manage training on the Learning Management System.
• Perform proactive evaluations of LMS and related processes to identify areas in need of improvement.
• Educate supervisors in a timely manner of any irresolute issues.
• Manage the integration and use of third-party applications within the LMS.
• Support both students and faculty in a timely manner.
• Liaise with LMS vendors to pursue functional improvement and technical issues within the system.
• Collaborate with instructional designers to build or revise course content in the LMS.
• Create learning materials and objects to support online and hybrid course delivery methods.
• Suggest, evaluate, and implement new technologies that support online and hybrid delivery formats.
