Job summary

Newsela is seeking an Educational Data Analyst to design and maintain dashboards, work with school district admins, and manage data integrations. You will use SQL and collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and Product to improve the data platform.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience as a data analyst, data engineer, or similar role.
• Experience with K-12 Student Information Systems such as Infinite Campus, PowerSchool, Skyward, or Aeries is preferred.
• Experience with educational data and data visualization tools.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain custom data dashboards.
• Manage and update data integrations.
• Interact with school district administrators to understand data needs and educate stakeholders on dashboard usage.
• Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and Product to enhance the data platform.
