Job summary

Fisher Phillips seeks an experienced EDTS attorney to join our Virtual Office as Counsel or Special Counsel. This mostly remote role focuses on sophisticated EDTS matters, including trade secret litigation, restrictive covenants, employee mobility, and emergency injunctive proceedings.

You will work closely with local partners to handle substantive legal work, manage matters from inception through resolution, and contribute to a hands-on, partner-led practice with strong paralegal and support

Qualifications

• Experience litigating trade secret and restrictive covenant matters in federal and state court.
• Experience with temporary restraining orders, preliminary injunctions, and expedited discovery as part of the injunction process.
• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school and active bar membership in good standing.
• Preference for bar admissions in Arizona, Nevada, and/or California.
• Ability to work effectively in a remote environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement case strategy.
• Draft complaints, pleadings, motions, and other substantive legal documents.
• Handle discovery, including expedited discovery in connection with injunction proceedings.
• Prepare for and conduct depositions.
• Handle appearances at hearings and other court proceedings.
• Conduct legal research and manage day-to-day case matters.
• Collaborate with EDTS partners and attorneys throughout the firm.
