Job summary

Magma Math in Manhattan Beach, California seeks a Customer Success Manager to oversee a portfolio of midsize to large district partners in the Western region. You will ensure educators implement Magma effectively and derive ongoing value from our AI-powered math platform.

You will onboard teachers and school leaders, maintain strong relationships with district stakeholders, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to promote adoption, renewals, and product feedback.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of work experience as a Customer Success Manager.
• Experience in ed tech, SaaS, and/or education.
• Desire to work in a scale-up environment.
• Proven track record of building and retaining strong relationships.
• Self-led and goal oriented.
• Strong eagerness to learn and understand the product’s technical aspects.
• Proactive problem solving and strong organizational abilities.
• Experience using data to inform decisions.
• High-energy with strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with district leaders and teachers as the primary contact.
• Understand districts’ needs and align Magma’s goals with classroom objectives.
• Communicate regularly on satisfaction and provide assistance.
• Guide new customers through onboarding for successful implementation.
• Provide virtual and onsite training and resources for product adoption.
• Collaborate with Account Managers to drive renewals and growth.
