Job summary

Firefly New Media LTD is seeking an Editorial Trust and Contributor Support Officer to work remotely from the UK. You will welcome new writers, verify claims and sources, and help scale our editorial tools with simple guides and short how-to videos.

This fixed-term contract runs 1 November 2026 to 19 March 2027, with a salary of £1,600–£1,740 per month and 28 days of pro-rata holiday, plus a workplace pension.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting contributors and checking sources.
• Ability to write clear, concise guides and quick how-to videos.
• Strong attention to accuracy and permissions.

Responsibilities

• Assist contributors with publishing first stories and replies within one working day.
• Check claims, sources and permissions before publication.
• Sign off on tools to ensure human review of every story.
• Create simple guides and short how-to videos for contributors.
