Job summary

Insight Global is seeking an eCommerce Product Specialist to support creation, maintenance, and quality of product content for DICK’S Sporting Goods’ ecommerce. You will build PDPs, craft titles and descriptions, and manage imagery and video, ensuring accuracy and on-time delivery.

The role requires strong writing/editing, retail interest, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a high-volume environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Writing, or similar.
• Strong writing, editing, or copy experience.
• Previous retail experience and genuine interest in retail/eCommerce.
• Strong attention to detail; comfortable with repetitive, high-volume content work.
• Dependable, accountable, and able to follow through in a remote environment.
• Able to work independently, think critically, and problem-solve.
• Proactive, eager to learn, and excited to take on new challenges.
• Comfortable with Excel/spreadsheets.

Responsibilities

• Support product categories and ensure accurate, complete, and on-time PDP setup and maintenance.
• Build and optimize product titles, descriptions, elevated copy, attributes, specifications, and other customer-facing content.
• Source, organize, and publish product imagery, video, and enhanced content.
• Verify digital assets meet quality, compliance, brand, and naming requirements.
• Identify missing, incorrect, or poor-quality product data and assets and work with Buying, Category Merchandising, vendors, and other partners to resolve gaps.
• Perform QA before publishing and quickly correct identified errors.
• Identify and escalate site presentation, display, content, or system issues.
• Manage multiple workstreams, changing priorities, and target dates while maintaining accuracy.
• Communicate professionally with external vendors and internal partners.
• Participate in team meetings, projects, training, and process updates.
• Follow documented processes and best practices while adopting new tools, automation, and AI-supported workflows.
• Recommend improvements to workflow efficiency, content quality, and the athlete experience.
