Job summary

Elevance Health is seeking an eCOB Specialist II to research and investigate other coverage for the company's groups and members across platforms. You will handle end‑to‑end COB coordination, reconcile claims, membership and accounting, and interpret state and federal rules and contracts.

This hybrid role requires strong multitasking, detailed documentation, and clear communication with members, providers and carriers.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent with 2+ years claims processing and customer service experience.
• 2+ years COB experience using NAIC & CMS guidelines.
• Equivalent education/experience combination accepted.

Responsibilities

• Research and investigate other coverage for company groups and members across platforms.
• Perform end-to-end COB coordination including claim reconciliation, membership and accounting.
• Interpret complex COB rules, laws and contracts across multiple platforms.
• Initiate delicate calls to carriers, members, groups, providers, attorneys, CMS and Medicaid as needed.
• Update membership system components with investigation results for claim coordination.
• Identify the correct formulas to adjudicate impacted claims using COB formulas.
