Job summary

Within Health is a physician-led telehealth care provider delivering primary therapy services to individuals with eating disorders. This full-time role focuses on individual, family, and group therapy within a remote, home-based setting across the Palmetto region (AL, FL, GA, NC, SC).

Applicants must be licensed in South Carolina and prepared to obtain licensure in additional states as needed. The position emphasizes compassionate, evidence-based care and collaboration with a multidisciplinary

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work or related field (must be fully licensed).
• Ability to obtain licensure in other states when asked.
• Strong communicator, both verbally and in writing.
• Experience treating clients with eating disorders.
• Knowledge of diagnostic criteria for co-occurring conditions and continuum of care.

Responsibilities

• Establish positive rapport with clients.
• Diagnose and treat mental health disorders.
• Create and update individualized treatment plans.
• Meet with patients regularly and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Coordinate and arrange services for each client.
• Conduct ongoing assessments of patient progress.
• Conduct group therapy sessions per program schedule.
• Involve family members when appropriate.
• Refer patients to outside specialists or agencies as needed.
• Maintain thorough records of patient meetings and progress.
• Follow safety protocols and ensure confidentiality.
• Communicate with outpatient providers to ensure continuity of care.
• Attend weekly staff and treatment team meetings.
• Create weekly individualized therapeutic and experiential opportunities.
• Conduct insurance reviews for individual clients.
• Engage in advocacy for mental health parity.
• Participate in community speaking opportunities.
