Job summary

Pennwood Cyber Charter School seeks Pennsylvania-certified educators to deliver high-quality virtual instruction to K-12 students from home offices in Pennsylvania. Teachers will use the Learning Management System, telephone, internet, curriculum tools, and synchronous and asynchronous teaching practices.

They will communicate regularly with students and Learning Coaches, monitor progress, provide timely feedback, maintain accurate records, and adapt instruction to strengthen understanding and

Qualifications

• Active Pennsylvania instructional certification for the assigned grade level and subject area.
• Pennsylvania residency.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work remotely and manage schedules.

Responsibilities

• Deliver asynchronous and synchronous instruction in whole-group, small-group, and individual settings.
• Complete grading, lesson preparation, and student and family communications within established timelines.
• Maintain knowledge of the K-12 curriculum and detailed knowledge of assigned courses.
• Review curriculum and use alternate instructional approaches to increase understanding and engagement.
• Support students and Learning Coaches with learning strategies, daily assignments, projects, and course expectations.
• Support implementation of IEPs, accommodations, and modifications for students.
