Job summary

CVS Health’s Aetna Mental Well-being division seeks a remote EAP Clinical Counselor to provide 24/7 telehealth mental health services to members nationwide via video, live chat, or phone.

The clinician will assess, triage, and coordinate care, delivering crisis intervention and short-term therapy while upholding confidentiality and documentation requirements. Requires licensed independent behavioral health professional and state licensure.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of crisis intervention experience.
• Valid unrestricted independent behavioral health license to practice per state regulations (LPC/LMFT/LCSW/LMHC/LCMHC/LISW/LICSW/Clinical Psychologist).
• 24x7x365 call center coverage is required.
• Experience in facilitating patient/client positive behavior change.

Responsibilities

• Provide telephone-based assessment, triage, counseling and informational services in a call center environment.
• Develop immediate action/safety plans based on urgency and assess level of care needs.
• Collaborate with a team to ensure continuity of care and linkage to resources.
