Job summary

CVS Health is hiring an EAP Clinical Counselor for its Aetna Mental Well-being program. The role delivers 24/7 telehealth-based counseling and information services to members nationwide, working in a remote USA setting.

Responsibilities include immediate risk assessments, safety planning, and care coordination across levels of care. Candidate must hold an independent behavioral health license and a master’s degree in counseling, with crisis intervention experience and 24x7 call center

Qualifications

• 1+ years of crisis intervention experience.
• 24x7x365 call center coverage; holiday coverage expected.
• Experience facilitating patient/client positive behavior change.
• Experience handling mental health, psychiatric care, family situations and relationship concerns preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide telephone-based assessment, triage, counseling and information in a call center environment.
• Develop immediate action/safety plans based on urgency after assessments.
• Guide members to appropriate levels of care for mental health and substance use.
• Educate members on mental health resources, programs, and linkage to services.
• Collaborate with a team of professionals to ensure positive clinical outcomes.
• Maintain confidentiality and complete required documentation.
