Job summary

CVS Health is seeking an EAP Clinical Counselor for its Aetna Mental Wellbeing program. This fully remote role delivers 24/7 counseling via video, chat, or phone and coordinates resources for members nationwide.

You will assess clinical needs and apply appropriate tools to support immediate care decisions. The position requires a master’s degree in behavioral health counseling and an independent clinical license, with 24/7 call center coverage and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of crisis intervention experience.
• Valid unrestricted independent behavioral health clinical license (LPC, LMFT, LCSW, LMHC, LCMHC, LICSW, LISW, Clinical Psychologist).
• 24x7x365 call center coverage needed; holiday coverage expected.
• Experience in facilitating patient/client positive behavior change.
• Experience handling mental health, psychiatric care, family situations and relationship concerns preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide telephone-based assessment, triage, counseling and information in a call center environment.
• Conduct risk, substance abuse and mental health assessments and develop immediate action/safety plans.
• Assess needs, determine appropriate level of care, and guide linkage to resources.
• Collaborate with a team of professionals to ensure positive clinical outcomes.
• Maintain accurate documentation and confidentiality per policies.
