Job summary

Western Computer is seeking a BC Solutions Architect to design and implement Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central financial solutions, focusing on General Ledger, AP, and AR. You will lead a team of functional consultants and partner with finance leaders to map chart of accounts, dimensions, and close processes.

You will drive presales activities, contribute to finance best practices, and ensure data integrity across integrated systems while coordinating across IT and business stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 7+ years implementing Business Central or NAV with a finance focus.
• Strong knowledge of accounting, AP/AR processes and month-end close.
• Experience leading full-cycle projects and consultant teams.
• Clear communication and presales skills.
• Accounting degree; CPA or MB-800 certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design finance processes in BC, from chart of accounts to posting groups and approvals.
• Turn finance requirements into design documents and configuration specs.
• Lead a team of functional consultants during BC implementation, including configuration, customization, and integration.
• Plan data migration so opening balances and open AP/AR reconcile at go-live.
• Coordinate with project teams to ensure timely deployment and address technical challenges.
• Oversee integrations of BC systems with other enterprise applications.
• Ensure data integrity across integrated systems.
• Engage with business leaders, IT teams, and vendors to meet requirements.
• Run workshops, training sessions and presentations for CFOs and finance teams.
• Support presales and contribute to BC finance best practices.
