Job summary

Western Computer is seeking a BC Solutions Architect to design, implement and ensure the integrity of financial solutions in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, with a focus on GL, AP and AR. You will lead a team of functional consultants and act as a trusted advisor to clients’ finance teams.

Qualifications

• 7+ years implementing Business Central or NAV with a focus on finance.
• Strong knowledge of accounting, AP/AR processes and month-end close.
• Experience leading full-cycle projects and consultant teams.
• Clear communication and presales skills.
• Accounting degree; CPA or MB-800 certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design finance processes in BC, from chart of accounts and dimensions to posting groups and approvals.
• Turn finance requirements into clear design documents and configuration specs.
• Provide leadership and guidance to a team of functional consultants on the implementation of BC solutions, including configuration, customization, and integration with other enterprise systems.
• Plan data migration so opening balances and open AP/AR reconcile at go-live.
• Ensure smooth deployment of solutions by coordinating with project teams, managing timelines, and addressing technical challenges.
• Oversee integrations of BC systems with other enterprise applications.
• Ensure data integrity and consistency across integrated systems.
• Engage with business leaders, IT teams, and external vendors to ensure solutions meet business needs and technical requirements.
• Run workshops, training sessions, and presentations to communicate solution designs and implementation plans with CFOs, controllers and finance teams.
• Support presales and help build our BC finance best practices.
