Job summary

Atlassian is seeking a highly skilled Pre-Sales Solutions Engineer in the United States. You will lead technical evaluations, run POCs, and collaborate with Account Executives to demonstrate platform value across commercial and midmarket prospects.

You will uncover client needs, design tailored API integrations, and provide trusted advisory on deployment methodologies while coordinating with Product and Engineering for feedback and roadmaps.

Qualifications

• Exposure to programming (Ruby/Rails) with solid APIs and RESTful services
• Experience with version control systems like Git and the GitHub CLI
• Familiarity with SQL
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, deployment workflows, and branching strategies
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for high-stakes client discussions and product demonstrations

Responsibilities

• Lead Technical Evaluations: drive all technical aspects of the sales cycle, including POCs and pilots
• Discovery and Strategy: lead technical discovery sessions to understand client needs
• Consultative Questioning: ask detailed questions to uncover client engineering processes
• Solution Design: design and propose tailored technical solutions for integrating APIs with client workflows
• Trusted Advisory: advise on deployment methodologies and analytics integrations
• Feedback Loop: capture technical feedback and inform product roadmap
