Job summary

HCA Healthcare is seeking a work-from-home Inpatient Coding Auditor to perform internal quality assessment reviews of Health Information Management Service Center coders. You will ensure complete, accurate coding per national guidelines and company policies to support reimbursement and data integrity.

You will lead quality reviews across multiple HSCs, assist coding staff with guideline adherence, and maintain productivity and 95% accuracy.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years acute care inpatient/outpatient coding experience preferred.
• RHIA, RHIT and/or CCS preferred.
• Strong knowledge of national coding guidelines and medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Lead and perform quality reviews for inpatient and/or outpatient coding.
• Ensure adherence to coding guidelines and policies.
• Maintain productivity and accuracy targets (≥95%).
• Review data quality standards and clinical documentation for coding accuracy.
