Job summary

CorroHealth seeks a DRG Revenue Integrity Auditor to validate inpatient DRGs and ensure coding accuracy. You will review charts, assess POA indicators, SOI, ROM, CMI, and HCC capture, applying ICD-10-CM/PCS and guidelines from CMS, NCDs, LCDs, and payer policies.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in acute care or vendor settings, CCS certification, and comfort with telecommuting and EMR systems. Sign-on bonus available and collaboration with top clinicians and coders.

Qualifications

• Five+ years in acute care or third-party vendor as a DRG Auditor or CDS.
• CCS required; CCDS or CDIP a plus.
• Experience with telecommuting and EMR systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed DRG validation reviews of inpatient charts.
• Ensure ICD-10-CM/PCS codes reflect patient conditions and treatments.
• Validate sequencing and accuracy of diagnoses and procedures.
• Review POA indicators, SOI, ROM, CMI, HCC capture, and other factors.
• Adhere to AHIMA/ACDIS guidelines and identify documentation gaps for queries.
• Mentor and support new team members and contribute to audits.
