Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a science-related field or nursing/respiratory/paramedic program
• One year of organ procurement coordination or critical care/transplant experience
• Valid licenses: RN, RRT, or EMT–Paramedic

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all activities related to receipt of organ offers for transplant
• Evaluate organ offers for suitability and procure organs
• Organize the procurement and dispatch teams to donor sites
• Coordinate air or ground transportation of organs
• Maintain data and report pertinent information on donors and transplants
• Assist in training organ preservation caregivers
• Attend selection committee meetings and enter data into transplant database
