Job summary

Protect Democracy seeks a thoughtful, detail-oriented Annual Giving Officer to steward a growing mid-level donor portfolio and run engagement tools across grassroots and peer-to-peer programs. Based on our Partnerships team, you will cultivate long-term relationships, write donor communications, and help expand to 500 donors by 2028 while collaborating to set ambitious goals.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of fundraising experience, including direct donor work.
• Experience identifying, cultivating, and renewing 4–5 figure gifts.
• Proficiency with fundraising tools and CRMs; Raiser’s Edge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of ~300 mid-level donors and institutional funders.
• Grow portfolio to 500 by 2028 through collaboration and stewardship.
• Write and distribute quarterly newsletters and biannual donor appeals.
