Job summary

MDS Communications is seeking a Communication Specialist to help fundraising clients reach donors from a home office. You will follow approved scripts to engage donors and convert gifts, while meeting performance metrics and participating in ongoing training.

Qualifications

• 1 year or more of outbound telemarketing experience or a strong general employment record with long term stability.
• Dedicated wired internet connection.
• A quiet place to work at home free from interruptions.
• Basic computer skills.
• A commitment and enthusiasm to charitable and nonprofit causes.

Responsibilities

• Receive in-depth training.
• Call for 4–8 different clients over the course of an 8 hour day using predictive dialing equipment.
• Engage donors with a positive, script-driven communication.
• Secure financial gifts from donors on behalf of our clients.
• Maintain fundraising and productivity metrics.
