Job summary

Aflac is seeking a Domain Architect to lead the enterprise data architecture, designing data warehouses, lakes, and lakehouse platforms, and ensuring governance and security across analytics and AI workloads.

You will collaborate with stakeholders to align data capabilities with business objectives, employing TOGAF and domain-driven design approaches, with emphasis on AWS and Snowflake deployments in a hybrid/remote US environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field.
• 8+ years in architecture or programming experience.
• Master’s Degree preferred with 10+ years in data architecture or healthcare/insurance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain enterprise data architecture roadmap.
• Design and govern data warehouses, data lakes, and lakehouse architectures.
• Govern data models, metadata, and governance practices.
• Architect data integration patterns and platforms for multiple workloads.
• Lead data architecture governance and standards.
