Job summary

Catalight is seeking a Senior Data Architect to lead enterprise data architecture across BI, data engineering, and AI/ML initiatives. This remote, individual-contributor role partners with the Data & Analytics team and key stakeholders to translate complex requirements into scalable data designs.

You will own the Snowflake data warehouse, govern data flows, and ensure compliance with HIPAA and other privacy standards while enabling trusted analytics across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in data architecture or data engineering.
• Proficiency in SQL and advanced data modeling techniques.
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake data warehouse architecture.
• Experience with AWS and Azure cloud services.
• Healthcare or regulated data environment experience, HIPAA knowledge.
• Strong communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Architect enterprise data vision, blueprint, and roadmap aligned to business strategy.
• Design scalable data models, data flows, and integration patterns across platforms.
• Govern Snowflake architecture and cloud services to support BI and AI/ML needs.
• Partner on data governance, quality, and regulatory compliance (HIPAA).
• Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and stakeholders to translate requirements.
• Champion data stewardship and communicate architectural decisions clearly.
