Job summary

HII is seeking a remote Program Manager to support Department of Defense Geographic Combatant Commands (GCC) under a large-scale contract. The role requires exceptional leadership, interagency experience, strategic thinking, and strong defense industry contract management knowledge.

Ideal candidate will manage complex projects, coordinate with DoW, GCC, interagency partners, and vendors, and oversee budgeting, risk, and performance across a multi-year program with substantial revenue.

Qualifications

• 6+ years with Bachelors, or 4+ with Masters, or 10+ with HS diploma.
• Experience as a Program Manager in defense or government contracting.
• Experience managing multi-year contracts with >$20M annual revenue.
• Strong leadership and communication at senior levels.

Responsibilities

• Program management: provide strategic direction, planning, and execution for the IDIQ contract.
• Client relationship management: primary contact for DoW, GCC, Interagency, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Project planning: develop scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation with stakeholders.
• Resource management: allocate resources across projects to optimize productivity and results.
• Risk management: identify risks and mitigation strategies with contingency plans.
• Budget management: monitor budgets, track expenses, and report to stakeholders.
• Quality assurance: ensure compliance with contract requirements and standards.
• Team leadership: lead a diverse team of PMs, engineers, analysts, and professionals.
• Performance monitoring: establish KPIs and report progress to stakeholders.
• Systems integration and network architecture: integrate multiple inputs/sensors into a robust network.
• Contract compliance: ensure adherence to obligations and regulations.
• Continuous improvement: drive process improvements and best practices.
