Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity or related field required.
5 years of full-time professional experience in system hardening and cybersecurity practices.
Certifications such as CCNA, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+CE or SSCP preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform system hardening on Windows and Linux in line with DoD requirements.
Implement and maintain Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs).
Conduct vulnerability assessments using ACAS and related tools.
Analyze, prioritize, and remediate cybersecurity vulnerabilities and findings.
Apply vendor patches and security updates on Linux and Windows systems.
Support compliance initiatives and continuous monitoring activities.
Maintain documentation of configurations, remediation efforts, and assessments.
Collaborate with admins, network engineers, and cybersecurity teams to resolve issues.
