Job summary

Clipboard, a remote-first healthcare staffing leader, seeks a Documents Compliance Analyst to own whether a clinician is cleared to work, including background checks, credential review, and state rule implementation.

You’ll report to the Head of the Documents Team, work with Agents, SMEs, and Legal, and produce clear decision memos. This non-management, process-driven role requires precise judgment, documented reasoning, and adherence to fixed licensing and reporting calendars.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• At least 5 years of professional experience.
• Experience applying regulations to real decisions (e.g., regulatory or compliance roles).
• Ability to interpret statutes/regulations and translate them into operational requirements.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the named escalation point for background check disqualification decisions.
• Make the initial call on agency compliance implementation.
• Handle escalations on worker credential verification and license issues.
• Document decision memos and the reasoning behind recommendations.
• Own recurring compliance operations such as license renewals and state reporting.
