Job summary

The State of Alaska DMV Call Center is seeking a Motor Vehicle Customer Service Representative 1 to answer inbound calls and guide customers through DMV transactions, including credential issuance, driving privileges, vehicle titling, and registration.

This role requires knowledge of Alaska statutes and the ability to explain regulations clearly by phone. The position is a flexible hybrid role with mandatory in-office trainings and occasional Anchorage presence for operations.

Qualifications

• Six months of employment experience that included cash handling and working directly with clients or customers.
• Six months of office clerical employment experience providing information to clients, customers, or the general public on services, procedures, and requirements, which included entering or retrieving data using computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Answer inbound calls and guide customers through a wide range of DMV transactions.
• Explain Alaska statutes, policies, and procedures clearly over the phone and resolve customer concerns.
