saas.group is seeking a capable Backend Engineer to own the Django backend and production infrastructure on the 3D AI Studio team. You will work closely with the founder to enhance code, build features, and maintain a scalable platform for a global user base.

The role emphasizes hands-on Django development, PostgreSQL migrations, and robust Linux server administration, including deployment, security, and monitoring. Remote work is allowed, with CET time alignment and global collaboration.

Formación

• Strong production experience with Python and Django backend development.
• Good PostgreSQL/SQL skills, including migrations and query optimization.
• Hands-on Linux server administration and production troubleshooting.
• Experience with REST APIs, background jobs and task queues such as Celery or RabbitMQ.
• Proficiency with Git, code reviews, testing and safe deployments.

Responsabilidades

• Own and improve the Python Django backend and related features.
• Manage Hetzner Linux servers, deployments, updates, and security.
• Maintain and migrate the PostgreSQL database, including to Neon.
• Ensure background jobs, API integrations, monitoring and backups are reliable.
• Investigate incidents and optimize performance for a large user base.
