Job summary

Bonterra Organic Estates is seeking a District Manager, Illinois, to grow the VCT-USA portfolio in off and on-premise channels across Illinois. This remote role focuses on sales activation, key account development, and working closely with distributors to drive growth for luxury and premium wines.

The ideal candidate is based in the Greater Chicagoland area with 10–15% overnight travel, a bachelor’s degree in business/marketing and 2–5 years wine sales experience, plus strong communication and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business/marketing or related field plus 2–5 years progressive sales experience in wine and spirits.
• Proven success in alcohol beverage industry sales and account management across on- and off-premise channels.
• Knowledge and passion for commercial and luxury wines; able to sell across price points.
• Strong verbal and written communication with public speaking and presentation skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and integrity.
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 including Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
• Valid Driver’s License and ability to be insured.
• Overnight travel 10–15%; travel throughout region.

Responsibilities

• Activate market sales programs and drive brand initiatives.
• Build relationships with top retailers and local chains.
• Partner with distributor teams to expand share of mind.
• Coordinate market work-withs and sales blitzes with distributors.
• Provide weekly market performance recaps to Region Manager.
• Monitor pricing and feature execution for compliance.
• Attend GSM and training sessions.
