Job summary

Palm Bay International is seeking a District Manager, Northern California, to build and manage the top account universe across on- and off-premise. You will train distributor sales teams and execute plans with partners while planning market visits and events for our 50+ supplier portfolio.

The role is home-based in California with travel across the state; it requires a strong leader with excellent communication, organization, and a proven track record in wine and spirits sales.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 5+ years of distributor or supplier sales experience.
• Wine and spirits knowledge and ability to teach it to others.
• Competitive and charismatic; comfortable presenting to large groups.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage the target account universe across on- and off-premise.
• Develop monthly plans with distributor partners and train their sales teams.
• Plan supplier market visits, wine dinners, and consumer tastings.
• Own the annual sales plan for California and track KPIs across the top accounts.
• Participate in weekly, monthly, and tertile business reviews.
