Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or related field or equivalent experience.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• 5+ years of experience in key account or distribution account sales management.
• Experience in water treatment chemical industry or related chemical industries preferred.
• Ability to identify key contacts within accounts to advance selling cycles.
• Ability to align customer needs with company capabilities and value propositions to drive growth.
• Proven ability to build trust with suppliers and customers.
• Results-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow existing distribution accounts to achieve sales, margin, and profitability objectives.
• Grow profitability of distribution accounts with margin management, additional products, and increased product volumes.
• Establish and maintain relationships with key decision-makers in distributor organizations.
• Identify, develop, and secure new distribution accounts.
• Provide market intelligence and leadership with competitor activity and emerging industry trends.
• Complete monthly reports and market summaries for distribution accounts.
• Provide technical support to distribution customers as appropriate.
• Research and source potential customers using various channels.
• Coordinate with Operations and Sourcing to ensure timely product supply for distribution customers.
• Utilize CRM to improve information sharing.
