Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Distribution Engineer to design and review overhead and underground distribution lines from 4 kV to 69 kV, including URD, re-conductoring and asset replacement projects. They will review completed designs to ensure compliance with client standards and coordinate with project teams.

The role includes urban and rural projects, engineering design calculations, and programing of protective line equipment.

Qualifications

• Design and review overhead and underground distribution lines from 4 kV to 69 kV.
• Prepare scoping documents, design criteria, and project deliverables.
• Interpret codes and regulations and develop construction standards.

Responsibilities

• Design and review overhead and underground distribution lines from 4 kV to 69 kV.
• Develop overhead, URD, re-conductoring and asset replacement projects, and underground cable/conduit work packages.
• Coordinate small design teams to develop budgets and project documentation.
• Provide engineering assistance during construction and attend meetings as needed.
