Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and dispatch drivers and vehicles for daily deliveries across designated regions.
• Optimize delivery routes using specialised software to enhance efficiency, reduce transit times, and minimize fuel consumption.
• Monitor driver progress in real-time, providing necessary support and addressing deviations from planned routes or schedules.
• Maintain clear and effective communication channels with drivers, operational staff, and customer service teams.
• Respond promptly to logistical challenges, such as traffic delays or vehicle breakdowns, and implement effective solutions.
• Ensure all drivers have the necessary information and resources to complete their assigned tasks accurately and safely.
• Maintain accurate records of dispatch activities, driver hours, and delivery confirmations.
• Generate reports on dispatch efficiency, on-time delivery rates, and route performance metrics.
• Adhere to all company policies, safety regulations, and transportation laws.
