Job summary

MCI is seeking a Contingent Disaster Relief Phone Agent to provide remote customer support as needed during disaster relief efforts. This temporary, work-at-home position is contingent on hurricane-related relief needs and operates 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM ET with two shifts.

Ideal candidates will be motivated, customer-focused, and able to learn our account management systems while delivering compassionate service in challenging times.

Qualifications

• Requires 18 years of age or older
• Must type 20+ words per minute with accuracy
• Strong written and verbal communication skills required
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
• Ability to learn account management systems
• Reliable with regular attendance and punctuality
• Customer service oriented with empathy and patience
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Team player with strong interpersonal skills
• Able to troubleshoot and follow up on customer issues
• Strong problem solving and conflict resolution abilities
