Job summary

Merkle, a Dentsu company, seeks a Director, Value Consulting to help clients quantify business impact of strategic investments. You’ll build financial models, ROI analyses, and P&L projections, translating numbers into actionable executive guidance.

You will lead development of business cases, partner with client teams, and deliver credible value measurements across adoption, change, and outcomes, shaping decisions and value realization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; preferred fields include Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, Data Analytics, or related fields.
• 7+ years of FP&A, corporate finance, strategy/consulting, or related experience.
• 5+ years of creating financial models, analyzing data, and working with large datasets in Excel or similar tools.
• Experience translating insights into recommendations & presentations; PowerPoint proficiency required.
• Comfort working in a matrixed organization with latitude in role.
• Ability to operate in ambiguity and define what to measure.

Responsibilities

• Build measurement frameworks linking program adoption to outcomes.
• Quantify financial impact of delayed or unresolved initiatives.
• Lead deliverables related to Business Value projection and transformations.
• Plan and facilitate client discovery through interviews, reviews, surveys, and data analysis.
• Manage daily consulting delivery, meetings, workshops, and readouts.
• Support governance, reporting, and value tracking over time.
• Plan workshops to prioritize recommendations using quantitative and qualitative methods.
• Build financial models in Excel to quantify impact and ROI for clients.
• Use market data to inform recommendations and best practices.
• Develop executive-level presentations and summarize findings for clients.
• Identify data points to demonstrate impact of our approach.
