Job summary

Otsuka America Pharmaceutical Inc. is seeking a Director of Specialty Operations to lead the launch of a new ultra-orphan product.

You will build and optimize an integrated operations model, aligning with brand strategy and coordinating with Brand Marketing, Access Strategy, Data & Analytics, Sales, Patient Access, and Medical Affairs. You will guide governance across specialty pharmacy, distribution, HUB services, and institutional providers, ensuring compliant, patient-centric operational

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree required; MBA preferred.
• Experience: 5-7 years in specialty model development/operations with launch experience.
• Proven cross-functional leadership across Brand Marketing, Access Strategy and Support teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and execution of operational strategies for specialty product launches.
• Oversee specialty distribution, hub capabilities, dispensing, reimbursement, and logistics.
• Coordinate with Brand Marketing, Access Strategy, Sales, Medical Affairs and Regulatory.
• Establish governance with vendors and internal stakeholders for patient visibility.
• Develop KPIs and dashboards to monitor launch performance and patient outcomes.
