Qualifications

• Highly advanced project management and systems analysis skills. Demonstrates ability to evaluate project objectives and scope, analyzes objectives for feasibility, and gain business understanding.
• Advanced oral and written communication skills, demonstrating the ability to convey business terminology that is meaningful and well received by the customer.
• Highly advanced people management skills, demonstrating an ability to lead, mentor and develop associates. Advanced interpersonal skills, demonstrating the ability to lead and mentor support staff.
• Excellent planning and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and/or sub-teams simultaneously, including the ability to delegate key areas of responsibility. Advanced analytical and problem solving skills.
• Insurance and/or reinsurance industry knowledge.Preferred
• Application Portfolio management experience. Preferred
• Knowledge of modern programming languages Required
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies Preferred
• IT Infrastructure (AWS) Preferred
• Experience with Marketing, CRM, External Web site, Content Management and Legal solutions Preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage projects and technology initiatives; identify and resolve technical, operational, and organizational problems.
• Mentor associates within the department and develop project team competencies.
• Develop and maintain effective business relationships, coordinating service delivery.
• Manage the business partner's application portfolio by understanding and communicating needs to internal IT project teams and external vendors.
• Collaborate with business partners to ensure properly defined and communicated project requests.
• Duties include hiring, training, evaluating, coaching, direct reports.
• Maintain current knowledge of industry practices, trends and applications.
