Eagle Creek Renewable Energy is seeking a Director of Business Development & Origination to lead commercial growth across the hydropower portfolio. This hands-on role combines deal execution with leadership of the Origination and Policy functions, coordinating with cross-functional teams to maximize value while guiding a small team in a fast-paced, ownership-driven environment.

• 8+ years of relevant experience in energy or power commercial, origination, or business development.
• Experience running or supporting acquisition and divestment processes, including diligence and transaction management.
• Strong contracting and negotiation capability across offtake, capacity, and REC agreements.
• Experience in RTO/ISO markets strongly preferred; renewables knowledge a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Lead facility acquisition and divestment processes end to end, sourcing opportunities, coordinating diligence, supporting valuation, and closing transactions.
• Identify and pursue growth opportunities across the existing fleet, including new offtake structures and incremental revenue streams.
• Originate, structure, and negotiate offtake agreements (PPAs, capacity, REC transactions) and develop contracting strategies.
• Oversee and support team members, setting direction and ensuring alignment with policy and funding objectives.
