Job summary

Eagle Creek Renewable Energy, LLC seeks a Compliance Analyst to join our Regulatory Affairs Team in Maryland. This role supports licensing and regulatory compliance across hydroelectric projects, tracking obligations and coordinating permit activities with internal teams and regulators.

You will analyze environmental data, prepare regulatory plans and reports, and assist relicensing efforts and site improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, environmental policy, engineering or related field.
• Experience in regulatory compliance, environmental compliance, or related field preferred.
• Strong understanding of federal, state, and local regulatory requirements.
• Experience with permitting processes and compliance tracking.
• Ability to analyze environmental data and prepare regulatory plans and reports.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with project relicensing, including strategy development and scheduling of environmental studies.
• Track, monitor, and report license compliance requirements.
• Interface with Federal and State Regulatory Personnel and support permits for site work and improvements.
• Ensure project compliance across divisions in coordination with Operations and an information management system.
• Analyze scientific and operational data, prepare compliance plans and reports.
• Evaluate site-specific regulatory requirements and adherence.
• Conduct regulatory due diligence on acquisitions of new hydroelectric facilities.
• Support training for regulatory interns.
• Perform other regulatory and compliance duties as assigned.
