Job summary

Green Thumb is seeking a Director, Production Optimization to lead packaging operations across our manufacturing network and own LEAN implementation. You will drive throughput, yield, and quality, while aligning production scheduling and packaging outcomes across sites.

The role collaborates with Packaging Engineering, Procurement, and the CI team to move initiatives from concept to sustained results. You will own flower and bulk packaging standards, line-changeover routines, and OEE targets,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Supply Chain, or related field.
• 4+ years of progressive manufacturing operations experience with packaging/high-volume production.
• Proven LEAN/six-sigma transformations with quantified sustained results (OEE, changeover, throughput).
• Fluency in production scheduling, MRP/MPS, and S&OP in regulated environments.
• Familiarity with Batch Production Records, SOPs, GMP, and CAPA processes.

Responsibilities

• Own packaging execution across all sites and product forms to meet specifications and quality.
• Establish standard work, changeover routines, and line-clearance for maximum units per labor hour.
• Collaborate with Packaging Engineering and Procurement on BOM accuracy and inputs readiness.
• Lead LEAN deployment and kaizen events to reduce changeover time and scrap.
• Manage production scheduling across the network and align with master schedule.
