Greenfield Global in Brookfield, CT is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead manufacturing, packaging, planning, and shipping at our Life Sciences facility. This hands-on leader thrives in fast-paced environments and builds high-performing teams to achieve operational excellence.

Reporting to the Site General Manager, you will guide a team of about 40, drive safety, and ensure on-time delivery while complying with OSHA, FDA, and other regulations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of operations leadership experience in manufacturing or life sciences.
• Experience leading frontline and supervisory teams in a production environment.
• Strong coaching, mentorship, and people development capabilities.
• Experience in regulated manufacturing environments with safety focus.

Responsabilités

• Lead daily manufacturing, packaging, planning, scheduling, and shipping activities.
• Develop, coach, and inspire a team of approximately 40 employees.
• Foster safety, accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
• Drive operational performance through data, KPIs, and process optimization.
• Identify opportunities to improve throughput, reduce waste, and enhance efficiency.
• Partner cross-functionally with Supply Chain, Quality, Engineering, and Customer Service.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, EPA, FDA and internal standards.
• Oversee inventory management and on-time delivery.
• Lead problem-solving efforts and implement corrective actions.
• Support future growth initiatives and site-wide improvements.
