Tiello is actively seeking a Director of Project Management focused on structural steel fabrication and erection. The role is remote or based in Orlando, FL, with oversight of high-value projects up to $50M+.

You will lead a team of project managers, review bids, issue POs, coordinate trades, and ensure safety and schedule adherence while delivering projects within budget. The ideal candidate brings 10+ years of steel fabrication/erection experience, proficiency with TEKLA EPM, Bluebeam,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in construction management or civil engineering preferred.
• 10+ years experience managing steel fabrication/erection projects.
• Experience managing projects up to $50M for reputable steel fabricators/erectors.
• Eligible to work in the U.S.

Responsabilités

• Oversee a team of project managers.
• Manage large scale structural steel fabrication and erection projects from cradle to grave.
• Issue purchase orders and subcontract agreements.
• Order materials as needed.
• Coordinate with other trades, subcontractors and erectors.
• Monitor weekly production and project performance.
• Monitor site safety and compliance with drawings and specs.
• Ensure project aligns with contract drawings and specifications.
• Track project progress and stay within estimates.

Tiello has partnered with a highly reputable Steel Fabricator/Erector in the Southeast area on their search for a Director of Project Management to focus on work in Steel Fabrication and Erection, managing projects ranging in value up to $50M+.

Role Summary

The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience managing steel fabrication and erection projects and will be responsible for reviewing bids, issue purchase orders/subcontract agreements, supervise field personnel, coordinate with other trades/subcontractors/fabricators, and monitor job sites.

Job Responsibilities

• Oversee a team of project managers
• Oversee and manage large scale complex structural steel fabrication and erection projects from cradle to grave
• Issue Purchase Orders and Subcontract Agreements
• Orders material as needed
• Coordinates with other trades, subcontractors, and erectors
• Monitors weekly production / project performance
• Monitors safety at the job site
• Ensures the job is built in accordance with the contract drawings and specifications
• Ensures the project is completed within the project estimate
• Tracks the job's progress

Qualifications/Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related is preferred.
• 10+ years Managing projects for reputable Steel Fabricators and Erectors
• Managing Steel Fabrication projects up to $50M
• TEKLA EPM software required
• Bluebeam, Procore, MS Products are a plus
• Willingness to pass background/drug screen
• Eligibility to work in the U.S.
