Job summary

Tiello, a DMV-area firm, is seeking a Project Manager who may bring on an Assistant Project Manager and/or Sr Project Manager, to lead steel fabrication and erection projects up to $30M.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years managing steel fabrication/erection projects, reviews bids, issues purchase orders and subcontracts, coordinates with trades, fabricators, and field crews, and closely monitors sites.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred.
• 3+ years managing steel fabrication/erection projects for reputable steel fabricators.
• Experience with projects up to $10M.

Responsibilities

• Issue Purchase Orders and Subcontract Agreements
• Orders material as needed
• Coordinates with other trades, subcontractors, and erectors
• Monitors weekly production / project performance
• Monitors safety at the job site
• Ensures the job is built in accordance with the contract drawings and specifications
• Ensures the project is completed within the project estimate
• Tracks the job’s progress

Tiello has partnered with a highly reputable Steel Fabricator & Erector in the DMV area on their search for a Project Manager to focus on work in Steel Fabrication and Erection, managing projects ranging in value up to $30M.

Role Summary:

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience managing steel fabrication/erection projects and will be responsible for reviewing bids, issue purchase orders / subcontract agreements, supervise field personnel, coordinate with other trades / subcontractors / fabricators, and monitor job sites.
