Job summary

National Philanthropic Trust is seeking a Regional Director of Development to drive fundraising and donor-advised fund growth in a remote role. You will build relationships with financial, legal, and tax professionals, deliver tailored presentations, and manage complex asset gifts across a broad donor network.

The role requires 7–10 years in philanthropy or related fields, a bachelor’s degree, and strong skills in strategic planning, relationship management, and communications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• 7–10 years in professional philanthropy, wealth management, financial services, or law with success in building high-net-worth donor relationships.
• Experience in private banking, donor-advised funds, or complex asset giving is highly desirable.
• CAP/CFRE or advanced CFRE certifications preferred.
• Strong understanding of philanthropy landscape including planned giving and HNW communities.
• Excellent project management, multi-tasking, and prioritization skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and Salesforce CRM.
• Strong presentation and public speaking abilities; effective business management.

Responsibilities

• Strategic planning and implementation with development leadership to grow donor growth and fundraising success.
• Relationship management with professional advisors through multiple channels; maintain donor pipeline.
• Partner with financial service partners to advise donors on donor-advised funds.
