Job summary

Mosaic Consulting Group is seeking a remote Director of IT to lead our technology and security strategy as we grow globally. This hands-on leadership role centers on security, SOC compliance, and practical IT operations, with a focus on simplifying technology for people to use.

You will set IT direction, manage the budget, oversee risk and audits, and ensure reliable support for a worldwide workforce across time zones.

Qualifications

8+ years of progressive IT experience, including leadership.
Experience supporting a global workforce across time zones.
Strong security background with risk assessment and controls.
Experience overseeing cloud applications, identity and access management, endpoint management, IT support, and vendors.
Ability to set a strategy and communicate clearly with technical and nontechnical colleagues.

Responsibilities

Own IT strategy, roadmap, and budget with leadership input.
Lead security program including risk management, access controls, incident response.
Manage SOC compliance and audits with organized evidence.
Oversee IT support for a global workforce across time zones.
Improve onboarding, offboarding, device management, IAM, and day-to-day support.
Assess tech environment for scalability and resilience.
Build and develop the IT function with internal vs. partner capacity.
Partner with teams exploring AI tools and secure adoption.
Translate technical risks into clear leadership decisions.
