Otsuka America Pharmaceutical Inc. is seeking a Director of Government Pricing to lead all federally mandated price calculations, including Medicaid AMP, Best Price, ASP and VA Non-FAMP pricing.

This role oversees audits, reporting certifications, and GP data validation, ensuring accuracy and compliance across the organization. You will collaborate with Market Access, Contract Operations, and Gross-to-Net teams to drive pricing strategy, forecasting, and cross-functional alignment, while

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration; MBA/CPA/JD highly preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.
• Minimum of 5+ years directly focused on statutory Government Pricing calculations, operations, and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead all federally mandated price calculations including Medicaid AMP, Best Price, ASP, and VA Non-FAMP pricing; manage reporting certifications and audits.
• Institute GP checks for accuracy, validate modeling set-up, test GP changes, and assess business impact of GP updates.
• Oversee processing and payment of government rebates and discounts (Medicaid, Medicare Part D, IRA inflation rebates).
• Ensure compliance with evolving federal and state requirements, including price transparency and CMS guidance.
• Collaborate with Contract Operations, Market Access, Gross-to-Net, and Pricing Committees; educate stakeholders through lunches and meetings.
