Job summary

The Director, Government Pricing at Otsuka Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd leads all federally mandated price calculations including Medicaid AMP and Best Price, Medicare ASP, and VA Non-FAMP pricing. This role oversees quarterly and annual reporting certifications, analytics to identify pricing trends, and validation with audit teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required; MBA/CPA/JD highly preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry with at least 5+ years on statutory Government Pricing.

Responsibilities

• Lead federally mandated price calculations including Medicaid AMP/Best Price, ASP, and VA Non-FAMP pricing.
• Oversee quarterly and annual reporting certifications and analytics to identify pricing trends and anomalies.
• Institute GP checks for accuracy, validate modeling setup, and assess business impact of GP updates.
• Oversee processing and payment of government rebates and discounts (Medicaid rebates, Part D discounts, IRA rebates).
• Ensure regulatory compliance with evolving federal/state requirements and CMS guidance.
• Collaborate with Contract Operations, Market Access, Gross-to-Net forecasting, and Pricing Committees to align government pricing.
• Drive data visibility via Power BI dashboards and enhanced reporting for proactive monitoring.
• Lead dispute resolution with state Medicaid on 340B issues and reduce manual workload.
