Glass House Brands Inc. is seeking a highly technical Director of Financial Reporting to lead external reporting and complex accounting for a public company.

You will own US GAAP statements, disclosures, and coordination with external auditors, CFO, and Internal Audit from a remote Southern California-based setting with occasional in-person collaboration. The role emphasizes rigorous technical accounting, policy development, and cross-functional leadership across reporting, tax, and treasury.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• U.S. CPA license required.
• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience with public-company SEC reporting.
• SOX and ICFR knowledge; SOX 404(b) experience preferred.
• Strong technical writing, project management, and executive communication skills.
• Hands-on experience with disclosure-management tools (Workiva) and Inline XBRL.
• Big 4 public accounting experience preferred.
• Experience with Canadian public-company reporting or multi-entity environments preferred.

Mansioni

• Prepare and review consolidated US GAAP financial statements, disclosures, and schedules.
• Lead annual and interim external reporting, including SEC and Canadian disclosures.
• Manage financial reporting in Workiva and perform Inline XBRL review.
• Maintain disclosure checklists ensuring consistency across statements and MD&A.
• Serve as primary contact for external auditors and coordinate responses.
• Support SOX readiness and internal control design with Internal Audit.
• Improve close process by front-loading technical analyses.
• Coordinate cross-functional workstreams for alignment of accounting conclusions.
