Vaco Recruiter Services is seeking a Director of Financial Reporting to lead external reporting, technical accounting, and financial compliance initiatives. Hybrid in San Diego with four days on-site.

The role manages quarterly and annual filings, coordinates with auditors, and drives strong internal controls. A CPA with 8+ years in public company environments is required, plus leadership experience and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• CPA required.
• 8+ years of accounting, financial reporting, or audit experience.
• Experience with SEC reporting and public company environments.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and internal controls.
• Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Director of Financial Reporting

Location: Hybrid in San Diego (4 days/week onsite)

Compensation: $150,000 - $195,000 + bonus
