Job summary

Omm IT Solutions in Charlottesville, VA is seeking a Director of Financial Accounting to lead close processes, financial reporting, and internal controls for a health-system environment.

You will manage accounting staff, coordinate with external auditors and regulators, and drive policy development and process improvements across ERP platforms including Oracle PeopleSoft and Workday. This role can be 100% remote.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field.
• 5+ years in financial accounting within health system, hospital, or academic medical center.
• 3–5 years of direct supervisory/people management experience.
• Experience with Oracle PeopleSoft Financials and related ERP platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead accounting staff and oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closes.
• Develop and maintain internal controls and policy documentation.
• Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory bodies.
• Drive process improvements across ERP platforms and reporting tools.
